Outback to Icecap
Move-in Director, Zahava Elenberg, has been invited to join the first Indigenous philanthropic expedition to Antarctica as part of an educational leadership program in conjunction with Yalari and adventurer Peter Bland. Yalari provides secondary school scholarships for Indigenous children around Australia and has selected six graduates from their program to be part of this adventure.
This is an expensive project and Outback to Icecap must raise the final amount required to fund the six Indigenous youths. They have set up a Pozible project with a target of $50K in five weeks.
Pledges range from $10 to $5,000 and include some great things, like sending your teddy bear along to break the Guinness Book of World Records for the most teddy bears in Antarctica!
Please help out if you can, every little bit counts.
